Q + A with Dr. Bradley Jabour – CEO/Chief of Radiology, Medical Imaging Center of Southern California
Bradley A. Jabour, M.D. is an internationally recognized Neuroradiologist with more than 25 years of experience in academic and clinical practice. He completed his Fellowship in Neuroradiology at the UCLA Medical Center, where he also served on the Faculty of Radiology in Head and Neck.

Q: Who would be a good candidate for TMS treatment?
A: Dr. Bradley A. Jabour: Patients suffering from neuropsychiatric disorders such as depression, OCD, auditory hallucinations, Tourette’s Syndrome, and bipolar disorder should call us today to schedule a consultation. Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation is a non-pharmacological, non-invasive treatment that could work for patients suffering from these disorders.

Q: Describe the patient experience at Smart Brain and Health.
A: Dr. Bradley A. Jabour: After your initial consultation and based on your symptoms, Smart Brain and Health will perform an MRI and a functional MRI of the brain to “See the Thinking Brain™” and find the areas in the brain where the TMS can be directed using GPS-like techniques on our Brain Lab, a modern day instrument.
This Neuronavigation uses the GPS system to target the disorder in the brain more accurately and results in far better results which are monitored with neurocognitive testing by our psychology and psychiatry team.

Q: What makes Smart Brain and Health unique compared to other TMS therapy facilities?
A: Dr. Bradley A. Jabour: Smart Brain and Health’s fMRI technology is a groundbreaking tool used to accurately target areas of the brain that are affected by or involved with brain diseases. Beyond a traditional MRI scan, fMRI is one of the most advanced imaging techniques that shows brain activity in real time, allowing us to truly “See the Thinking Brain™.” Using patented fMRI paradigms and procedures, Smart Brain and Health has achieved optimal results in treating patients with various neuropsychiatric disorders. We also pride ourselves on our compassionate, caring, and highly talented team.

Q: What do you think is the future of radiology?
A: Dr. Bradley A. Jabour: Imagine if one image could save your life. With studies like the ZeroRad™ Full-Body MRI Scan and Functional MRI offered at Medical Imaging Center of Southern California, we can. Using MRI, we can take a 3D tour inside your brain, heart, and body with no exposure to radiation. Early detection means early intervention, and this will provide you with peace of mind in your quest to live a long and healthy life. That’s exciting and worth pursuing.
